In Ancient China, “five fruits” were represented by peach, plum, apricot, chestnut and jujube. Nowadays, it generally refers to all kinds of fruit and nuts including dried fruit.

Chinese restaurants in the UK and in China are not known for creating desserts, in the UK many guests expect something sweet to end a dining experience. The culture of Chinese Food with a fusion of western food culture lends itself to the creation of amazing dishes.

This session will use ingredients found on the shelves of a Chinese supermarket, mixed with classic pastry skills to introduce you to new flavour pairing to give your guests something a little different and the perfect end to a healthy flavorful meal that appeals to all tastes.
